BUSECO partakes Earth Day Celebration

The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) recognizes the importance of environment on top of nurturing it for the furtherance of the human race. BUSECO believes that everything we enjoy today, we owe such to our mother earth. Hence, it is but just and evenhanded to pause for a moment, recognize and offer praises to the major role Mother Earth plays for our advantage.

On April 22, 2015, BUSECO joined LGU-Manolo Fortich and the nation in the celebration of Earth Day Philippines with a theme: Earth Day, Everywhere, for Everyone at Mangima Canyon Spring and Country Park. The activity was started with a Motorcade from NGC to Mangima Spring Resort followed by a holy mass.

A short program was then conducted. It formally started with an invocation followed by National and Provincial Hymn. Ms. Fe Q. Dongalio, MENRO recognized the participants of the Earth day. Words of Welcome was then delivered by SB Chair on Environment, Honorable Reynaldo L. Bagayas, Jr. 52nd Engineer Brigade also rendered intermission number to add colors to the celebration.

Honorable Mayor Rogelio N. Quino delivered his message for the renewal of climate change adaptation pledge of commitment. Signing of pledge of commitment by heads of different agencies followed. Community Singing of Heal the World concluded the short program. Part of the activity also is the Symposium on Environmental Concerns. BUSECO participants were Safety Officer Eleuterio Mesiona, Jr. and OGM Staff Junkie Dalde.

BUSECO’s participation to the said activity manifests its sincerity and support in all endeavors concerning environmental conservation which is for the advantage of its Member Consumer Owners as they are also affected by any changes and also meaningful with BUSECO’s aspiration of becoming a World Class Organization.
