BUSECO successfully holds 8th District Assembly in Manolo Fortich

BUSECO existed because of the people, by the people and hence, for the people. With this, the cooperative believes that participation from its Member Consumer Owners (MCOs) is of huge importance for the advancement of the cooperative. Additionally, one of BUSECO flagship programs is Member Consumer Empowerment Program (MCEP) of which aims to involve MCOs from the grass roots level to the operation of the cooperative for them to be empowered and appreciate the cause of the cooperative which is very vital in realizing BUSECO’s dream of becoming a World Class Organization.

On April 11, 2015, BUSECO conducted its 8th Annual District Assembly in the District of Manolo Fortich. The program was formally opened with BUSECO Prayer followed by National Anthem. Mr. Reynaldo Narisma, MSEAC of Manolo Fortich then formally opened the assembly and acknowledged the delegates.

Branch Manager for Manolo Fortich, Mr. Juancho T. Chiong, gave the Overview and Background of the Annual District Assembly to set the expectations of the participants. Director Alex D. Payangga then gave his message to the assembly.

To apprise the MCOs of the status of the cooperative, no less than General Manager Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA presented the BUSECO 2014 Accomplishments and 2015 priority targets. Corporate Planning Manager Cristopher A. Dulfo expounded the Power Supply Situation of BUSECO and its Impact to MCOs for better understanding.

Moreover, Engr. Roseller M. Salise, ETSD Manager also tackled Sitio Electrification Updates and Synchronized Barangay Line Clearing. Mr. Florgene A. Sumintan discussed the Medical and Bereavement Assistance for well grasp of the MCOs.

An open forum was then conducted to ensure that all concerns of the MCOs represented by Multi Sectoral Electrification Advisory Council (MSEAC) and Barangay Member Consumer Electrification Council (BMCEC) were properly addressed. The program was then formally closed by Ms. Lydia Yambagon, BMCEC of Maluko. The assembly was hosted by Lady deans Ms. Bernadeth Bontilao and Ms. Maria Theresa Anlagan. The assembly was duly attended by ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­400 MCOs.

This simply manifests the sincere intention of the cooperative to be transparent to its MCOs which is very vital with the cooperative’s dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
