District Of Libona Re-Elects Director Barros as their Representative
With the expiry of the term of incumbent member of the Board of Director for the District of Libona represented by Director Tarcisio Barros and in compliance with the Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) by-laws, National Electrification Administration (NEA) Election Code, and Republic Act 10531 otherwise known as NEA Decree, BUSECO conducted District Elections for the District of Libona.
Prior to the conduct of the said Elections, an Orientation Seminar was conducted by BUSECO Election Committee to properly inform the candidates of the requirements. Notices for Elections were properly published/announced to inform the Member Consumer Owners (MCOs) of the event. Further, District Assembly was also conducted to give candidates time to share their plans and programs to MCOs.
On May 31, 2014, the District Election for Libona was conducted. Having no challengers for directorship, Director Tarcisio Barros was re-elected, henceforth, will continue serving BUSECO the second time around.
BUSECO is glad to conclude the District Elections peacefully. With this, the cooperative wishes to extend its appreciation to the Board of Directors headed by President Eligio C. David, Jr.; Management and Staff lead by GM Deiter Hoff P. Arellano; District Committee (DECOM) for the District of Libona; Election Committee headed by Mr. Florgene Sumintan; Screening Committee; PECOM composed of BMCECs; and Partners and Associates for the all-out support to make the District Elections’ successful.
The activity simply manifests that BUSECO is compliant and sincere with its mandate of giving the Member Consumer Owners the right to choose. BUSECO is also glad that Director Tarcisio Barros is given another opportunity to help sustain and raise BUSECO.
The cooperative hopes that his tenure will be another great help for BUSECO to sustain its current categorization as well as to achieve its dream of becoming a World Class Organization in the near future.
