BUSECO conducts Synchronized Barangay Line Clearing
in the District of Malitbog
As a pro-people cooperative, Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) believes that participation from masses is of huge importance. With this, BUSECO aims to involve the Member Consumer Owners (MCOs) in the operation of the cooperative for them to understand, internalize and support the movement.
BUSECO is glad that before the 2013 ends or on December 30, 2013, the cooperative finally and successfully conducted the long time ago planned Synchronized Barangay Line Clearing in the District of Malitbog, Bukidnon. The activity started at 6:30 in the morning and ends at exactly 3:00 in the afternoon. A total of Eight Hundred Seventy Six (876) number of trees, bamboo groves and bananas were trimmed down with the almost eight hour’s activity. There were eighty (81) persons hired for the activity, hence, an efficiency of 11 trees per climber.
BUSECO truly appreciates the presence and cooperation of all barangay captains in their respective barangays and deep understanding and patience of the MCOs which really contributed to the success of the activity. Also commend the efforts and dedication of the BUSECO partners and associates, namely: Manuel Talines Jr., Marhlon Ragandang, Alain Radaza, Mikeron Fallarcuna, Sabas Ragandang Jr., Regie Ragas, Ric Emerson Cachapero, Jhonnel Ebueza, Marlon Dominggo, Roy Roland Echem, Jethro Cabanday, Jonnel Pedrosa and Engr. Roseller Salise. Likewise laud the commitment of all partners and associates that in any way help the success of the activity.
The Synchronized Barangay Line Clearing in Malitbog serves as model to all districts that such activity is very possible with commitments and cooperation of all concerns. It must be noted that such is beneficial to both the cooperative and the MCOs. With the line clearing, power quality and reliability were significantly improved.
BUSECO hopes that this activity will continue with the upcoming years and strengthened further the partnership of the cooperative and the respective districts/barangays. BUSECO is confident that this kind of partnership will lead BUSECO to its ultimate dream of becoming a World Class Organization.
